Heather Stevens
Waiver Services Director
Heather began her journey with LittleStar in 2018 as a (RBT) before transitioning to the Waiver Services department in 2022. Over the past four years, she has developed extensive knowledge of Indiana Medicaid Waiver services and is dedicated to helping individuals and families access the supports they need to thrive.
As Waiver Services Director, Heather is passionate about expanding quality services across Indiana while ensuring families receive compassionate guidance and personalized support throughout their journey. She is committed to building meaningful relationships with the individuals LittleStar serves, collaborating with community partners, and empowering her team to provide exceptional, person-centered care. Heather takes pride in helping create opportunities that promote independence, inclusion, and an improved quality of life for every individual and family she serves.

Kahla Grimpe
Waiver Services Manager
Kahla Grimpe is relatively new to the Waiver Manager position; however, she has been with the company for 1.5 years as a DSP in WLA. Her experience as a DSP is a great addition to understanding the role she has transitioned into. She is excited to learn more about this position and the different families that she serves. Outside of work, Kahla enjoys playing video games and spending time with friends. She is also a recent graduate from Purdue studying Anthropology.
Jessica Huizar
Waiver Services Coordinator
Jessica Huizar joined Little Star in March 2025. Although she is relatively new to the organization, she brings nearly a decade of experience in Medicaid Waiver services and has extensive experience working with individuals with disabilities. Jessica is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and support for those navigating these services. In addition to her work, she is a licensed cosmetologist with a passion for sports, particularly football. Jessica is a huge fan of the Detroit Lions. She is married to her wonderful husband, Fabian, and they have three beautiful daughters: Cherish, Laila, and Gianna. Jessica was born and raised in Lafayette and is a proud Boilermaker fan!
