A Program
for Every Individual
First, We Plan
Every treatment starts with an assessment. We want to understand each person’s needs and what behaviors require intervention. This happens not only when the individuals we serve begin at LittleStar, but frequently throughout the time that they are receiving services.
We also listen to families. They tell us what they’ve experienced at home and in public, and we use that knowledge to help us get a better picture of what’s going on.
Then, We Set Goals
Next, we discuss what we want to accomplish together. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director each with several years of experience and the highest qualifications, will help you understand what to expect and set appropriate goals.
Then, We Develop The Plan Together
The individuals we serve receive ABA therapy from a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and supervision from a BCBA who assess their progress and maximize opportunities to acquire new skills and if necessary, treat problem behavior.
We evaluate on a day-to-day basis, and we meet with families every six to eight weeks to look at long-term goals and how we’re making progress. About every six months, we submit a treatment plan to insurance that shows progress made and proves the need for continued medically necessary intervention. It’s a process that’s been proven, at LittleStar and replicated elsewhere, to have the biggest impact and most favorable outcomes.
